we have a longtime friend Wowe that is in need of jewelcrafting drops(blue diamonds&diamonds from the ships in Dulak's Harbor so I am suggesting that if Alley and Mal and Haams are agreeable we take our 41-50s to seizecontrol of the ships in dulak's after the DoN hunt on Sunday to try to get as many of these diamonds as possible as well as getting a little XPfor the littles Wowe was in Dulak today Friday Friday Sept 2nd soloing for these drops since it is rather difficult for him to solo Kael Drakkel which is the other zone in which Allakhazam says the blue driamopond are droped more often so is it OK with all of you to help Wowe out by farming these items?(note to Alley.. please change date time as you see fit

Blue Diamonds can drop in many many more zones, especially in PoP zones.

The easiest place that I can think of with a decent drop rate is the ghosts in Natimbi.

The best rate that I have found is the Mephits in Plane of Nightmare. I was getting a diamond of one type or another from approximately 1 in 3 kills there.

what about that zone where the grimling runner is ,didnt the vampires in that castle drop alot of them, not sure if they still do tho have not been there in a long time
but if so, they should be easy to solo

As I recall, only the named vampires drop the good gems (along with other loot). Unfortunately they are not snareable or rootable, are on a 1 hour timer, and have a strong possibility of adds. Thats why I mentioned the ghosts. There are about a dozen of them, all on a 20 min timer. The named ghost is pretty tough, but can drop a 20 HP aug about 10% of the time. There may well be an easier place then that, but it's what came to mind first.

Another good place for the diamond class drops are the Stalkers in PoN. Shouldn't be too hard for a chanter and most of the times when I was trying to farm them on Lil Vae, the place was camped by either chanters or druids.
