Mines of Nurga exploration expedition
Wednesday - August 20, 2003 - 8pm CST

I understand from some 'acquantances' of mine, that the mines called 'Nurga' are now completely overrun with Goblins. Also, I have word that there are several slaves being held there and the desire is for them to go free. I'm sure that they may be more accomodating with a reward once they are back home.

There are several slaves that will ask for 3 items to free them. Once the items are handed in, 5 groups of 6 goblins spawn in succession, followed by a couple of more difficult encounter with a seargent and perhaps an Overseer, I believe. Once these are beaten, the slave is freed and returns to their home city. Hailed there, they offer quest rewards for items from Nurga.

Obviously Yila is too old for this adventure, but kardoleks is just right!! He wields an Argent Defender with might and grace and heals to boot and casts too:)

The mines are a weee bit tougher than they use to be, but one good group of high 40's low 50's should be able to at least have some fun there:)

Tonight is the night for us to invade the Mines of Nurga!

This is for 40+ (and I think low 40s should be OK as well).

The Mines are in Frontier Mountains, which is a quick jog through either Dreadlands or Lake of Ill Omen. Both of those entries into FM enter in the SouthEast corner of the zone, near enough to the Mine entrance. I might suggest DL as the fastest entry point, doesn't look like near the run that LoIO may be.

Let's plan on being there right around 8pm CST so that we can get started as soon as possible. Should only take a couple minutes to get there from PoK.

Once in, it does appear that we will need to move a ways (or swim UP a waterfall) to get back out.

The lower limit is set, but is there an upper limit? I've never been to Nurga and I'd like to explore a bit. I'm going to try to come if they don't need me in hate
