Well well well, TGIH of 02 is now officially 9 for 10. We got a bit of a late start last night but we were all still raring to go. After we had finally assembled in the antechamber of Soluseks Eye, we did the usual protection spells and Talinoth dosed us all with a camoflaging spell. We all knew the way to goblin captains room so it was just a foot race to see who got there first. Actually I threw the race bacause I really was not all that enthused in leading the way. Better to let the burly men lead and save my breath for healing.

We reached the point outside the captains room and then turned and confronted our goblin foes. After that breif pause we rested and entered the Captains room to deal with any goblins in there. The captain was strangely absent himself, but that really didn't matter to us as he was not the quarry we were seeking. We dispatched those goblins and moved over into Kindle's room. The goblins were weak and unprepared to meet us there as well. I have noticed a surprising trend here in the Eye, for the goblins to forget history. It's amazing that they don't learn fom past mistakes....ah well... good for us and bad bad for them.

We had one heart stopping moment when Drexxel was looking outside of Kindle's room one way and Thunderhart was looking the other way. Unfortunately they both brought guests when they returned. Nothing we couldn't handle mind you, but the adrenalin was certainly pumping. When Kindle finnaly did show his firey face, he again picked on me. I wonder why he did that. I am not exactly the most threatening figure there in our group, but they just must not like the healing issue. Kindles death was slightly anticlimatic. He came, we saw, he died. Very elementary. We all held our breath and crossed our fingers and Viola!!!!!!! there was Drexxells Impskin gloves. Still very much intact on the little buggers singed fingers.

I didn't watch as Drexx got out a very sharp knife and went about his business pulling the things off Kindle's remains. I am not sqeamish really, but that is just... well let's move on....

After a hearty round of congratulations we decided to look into the shield for Talinoth. Getting there was a breeze and finding the area where the CWG Model EXG was reputed to haunt was also simple. the gnomes still kinda tolerate us so we were able to even visit the various vendors there. I found a pair of boots on the vendor that I thought I would buy and donate to the temple. They were cheap and I wanted to try to make it look like we weren't stalking the gnomes.

We founs a CWG Model MA that appeared to be waiting for the CWG Model EXG .. it was wandering up and around the area... we followed it and waited until it was alone to interrogate it. It didn't respond well to interrogation adn a gnomish conjuring jumped in on it's behalf. We took them both down with no sign of the CWG Model EXG . It was getting late and we really didn't have time to waste. Wewill formulate a better plan of attack and head back later.
