Anyone having issues with the patcher? It keeps getting stuck downloading. On all of my computers. If anyone knows how to fix this please help me.

rulesindex.dat is a file for the card game. It is a known issue.

Get around this:

Run EQ without launchpad from the command line: "c:\program files\sony\everquest\eqgame.exe patchme"
(replace the path to eqgame.exe with the actual path on your PC)

ALSO

The Station beta patcher appears to work.

Go to the start button and then go to run. when you get that little box, enter that command that tan typed.

I heard someone say it's supposed to be being fixed, so hopefully tomorrow it will work right without all this.

Maden went LD tonight and never got back on either :(

I went to station and it said to delete the file archtype in the following path
C:/programfiles/sony/everquest/data/legendsofnorrath/archtypes. I did all this and it still did not work, I ended up right clicking on my eqicon on desktop clicking on find target, then opening from inside the the folder. Loaded fine after that. They said its a corrupted file issue according to station.
