Hours later .....I finally got the problem solved , my fifth disc was bad ...... and i was typing an S for a 5 for the acct key...so of coarse that wasn't working <need eyes checked any way I have learned something TY Tan for ur response

OK I spoke to soon......game is freezing up where term agreement is....arrow stays in top left corner of screen......this so bites.....

p.s. when i look in my new eq files none of my characters are in there.

Anytime I run a patch update I have to tell my firewall AGAIN to let eq do it's thing. Otherwise I get stuck just after passing the login where you type your password and it freezes. I've found the way around this to be make sure you are in windows mode of eq before hitting enter on your password, this way you can minimize and tell the firewall it's okay. Not sure if that's what you are experiencing but sounds kind of close.

Edit: as for characters, they won't be there until you log them in. Of course you'll have to build your ui and keyboard again. That's one thing I got pretty proficient at going through my harddrive problems.

the tech told me to use my platinum version and patch the rest...and some how came up with 2 eq symbles in my files and the one with the short cut was the wrong one...causing my freezing up.....but i found the correct one and made a new short cut...so now to the job of getting my toons UI s fixed again and
I have dreadful lag in pok..... all this to get 3 expansions, don't u just love it....

When I installed titanium and registered the account ket to Nytrix's account I could not get in at all until I did a complete file check in the patcher - now there are no proplems. and I can get Nytjade into the guild lobby for rezzes
