it's a 3d modeling and animation program...that is about to get tossed out the window....hehe

do you know how to import a bitmap onto a blinn without it covering the blinn effects completely? Seems like a simple opacity thing, but I can't find it anywhere.

That's the support knowledgebase on the Alias site ... it's not something I can help with, I think. Since the shader and texture should both work together ... I'll agree and think it's just a setting somewhere.
