SKlug and Ngreth have both confirmed that stick figures are now a permanent option that is available in the INI file.

Stickfigure=1

it will automatically patch tomorrow and turn it off ( 0 ) but you can just re-enable it again.

I'd been gone the last couple AFDs, so this is new to me. I think it's pretty awesome, though a pain when I'm two boxing my wife's chanter. Can't tell as easily which character I'm running.

I think they did it 2-3 years ago, and not since. Now folks know it might happen, but you should have heard (i.e. read) all the screaming when they first did it. Bafflement, followed by outrage, followed by fury, etc.
