Last night when I said my sky was "hinky," this is what I meant. It's very strange running around in a zone you know very well (this is EK) and yet not being able to find a landmark because of the bizarre appearance of the sky.

I've upgraded my video drivers, even though the new ones are only 8 days newer than my old ones, and I'll see if that fixes it.

Let me know if that helps I have a machine that does the same thing, but after reading the support forums it looks like this is a win 98/me problem.

Did you download the files for OoW yet? There seem to be a lot of win 98/ME people with this problem

hmm...that looks familiar...i had something similar happen at one time

if i remember right, i dumped all my .tex files (sky textures) and re-downloaded them...

did you try changing screen resolutions or sky complexities?

I tried changing sky complexities - didn't make any difference that I could see. I didn't change resolutions.

Maybe the driver update fixed it - stay tuned for an answer!
