Thanks to everyone that came out and thanks to everyone who helped me with this. It was my first trip to RSS and I leaned on other folks pretty hard to help guide this one and I thank you for your help. We had about 20 plus folks in all. It just seemed like one of those nights where everything that could go wrong did at one point or another. We did very well once we finally got settled in at RSS and split into two 10 or so person "groups". Even in raid the AA experience there was very good. While the usual idea is to set up group(s) for runes, I wanted to allow everyone that came to this a chance to attend and with a stronger force, I felt that we could clear more, faster, and therefore have a higher chance of getting folks some runes.

I did learn quite a bit from this and hope to carry it over to another attempt in the future. First, is to stay focused on the goal, which is to farm some runes. Exp and item loots were secondary to the goal. Second, be very clear from the start as to how loot will be distributed. There was a lack of communication on my part there and I again apologize. In the future on any hunt like this where we have multiple groups with folks from multiple guilds attending the S.O.P. will be to /random all drops with a limit of 1 rune & 1 item per character for the event which will be announced in /rs at the beginning. Zones like RSS are highly camped and while hunting there we must be alert for others who may not "play nice". By this I mean we had some folks not in our hunt that pulled through our camp and pulled a named that ended up causing our final wipe. While they apologized it still had the effect of causing us to call the raid and leave the zone.

Again thanks to everyone for coming and thanks for your patience. I still think this is a worthy pursuit and will schedule one again soon, and hope everyone interested will join us.
