Oddly enough, that's where I began, but because RhymeZone uses such a persistent set of ad-ware, my Spybot S&D won't even bring the page up, so I gave up on it

Ah, may I then point you to :

I use it on all my systems. It replaces the most common ad offenders with a redirect to your local system, thus not displaying the ad.
