From playing a pally (the other light knight) I realized in the
long run that I should have been looking for STA and HP items over wis items. In the late game, as long as your AC is over 1200 you're fine and should be concentrating on getting more hps. Yet, as I recall from the early game and being a lower-level knight, hps, haste, and dex were the most important for a tank class if your stamina was over 100 because you would be immune to the fatigue from fighting, would hit the mobs quickly on a regular basis to establish aggro, and be able to take the damage as it came.
Stamina over 100 is nice because of that extra hp bonus but there's a lot of hp-gear that offers a lowbie more hp rather than going for sta, agility is nice because it helps you avoid those nasty blows but you're almost bound to get hit and so hp in all practicality seems more essential to a class that doesn't heal itself very quickly, int is also nice but I would imagine its benefits being reserved if you plan on more solo play than group play, and strength is a nice plus for those bonus hits, but I think most sta gear items will come with strength anyway so I really don't think this is anything you should be focusing on trying to get -it'll come as a compliment with other gear anyway.
That's just fom my experience, but then again I'm a pally not a sk. I'm sure Kahmon will have better advice.
