I am spending some time researching the spells I will now need - and new zones, etc.

Where do you recommend going to get exp. as a level 70 Mage?

Also, the economy really is different since I was in game 4 years ago. I had like 200k pp and I thought I was rich! I gave it all away because I thought I would never come back - now I see stuff being sold for prices I thought I would never see. I am going to save all of my coppers!

Spell I can help with. Most spells up to 70 are researchable now.

EXP is best in the hot zones. Ruins of Ilislin would be preferred if you can get a group there. BoT is not as good XP, but there are almost always pick up groups there.

While some gear is incredibly expensive, there are often bargains to be had on things almost as good. The key is to look for the items that are common drops & heavily farmed.
