Last night on the spur of the moment we went to check Ssra Temple, and the Emperor was up. With 2+ groups we brought him down, ending a years-long quest for some of us and freeing up precious bank space.

We celebrated by using our new keys on Vex Thal (not that we couldn't have entered anyway), and explored there.

My modem conked out before we were done, but not before I had the satisfaction of finishing one of the longest quests in the game (%&*&#@ lucid shards!).

That is AWESOME news, Alley. Gratz to finally finishing that up.

So....how's it going with the quest to get the keys to Sleeper's Tomb?

That was never a quest I was working on, but the patch in April made it irrelevant. I think we went in there exploring a few weeks ago. It was pretty impressive. It's almost a pity that so much work went into a zone that few ever got to see.

Congratulations on the Emp killing! I remember killing Ssra several times - matter of fact, in the four years I have been gone from EQ the one thing I always had that I missed the most - the White Ornate Chain Bridle that I won off of Ssra...

That is a fun and challenging battle - congratulations WoV!
