I've had a paid account so long that I don't recall if you can get a free one with fewer perks, but the paid one lets you install a little program on your computer so that when you loot a new item, it adds it for you. You can look at all your inventory, your bank, your spells, etc. You can export your character's stuff to a text file and look at it.

sorry i couldnt be there....family duties hehe....so, is it suggested we make our magelo?

It is up to you if you want to go with magelo's.

You can turn on auto-update on the options window for Eqplayers if you choose to go that route.

Magelo is still free, however, you cannot use the "auto-update" for characters with the free account.
Only premium accounts can auto-update characters.

Please note that you can import stats, etc, for EQRoster (our guild roster) with either Magelo profile or EQPlayers profiles.

Someone asked if there was any way to know what spells you had and which spells you were missing, and I replied that if you had a Magelo profile, there was a tool on the site that would tell you which spells you lacked. Someone else said, "What is Magelo?" and this post was born.
