Wayfarers of Veeshan

Would like to try setting up a hunt in Dagnor's Cauldron for Sat., Aug. 21 at 3 pm CDT (1 pm PDT). Meeting place, BB at DC entrance.

Would like to see if WoV can kill Praklion of the Cauldron. He is a level 60 dragon for the berserker epic who is only up between 11pm and 2am EQ time. From reports he spawns in bottom of lake ENE of the center island. Runs at about 70% and 30% health back into water and regenerates quickly while in water - so he will need to be pull onto land to fight him, but everyone should still have their EB items. This is the 3rd step on the Berserker Epic for Rheniium and only the first that will require help from friends/family. She would really like to get this epic before Drexxell sends out the call-to-arms for the Old World Dragon Hunters.

Praklion might be a very tough dragon since he is a caster (Sonic Blast PB AE - Cauldron Lance ST 1200 dmg cold - Tempest PB AE 300' stun - Slumber PB AE 500' mezz) and from all reports he may summon. Mana drain would be a big benefit here as would MR and CR and possibly a low level DoT cast on the melees to break any mezz.

As an alternative, or addition, Morgayne is needing to kill the Corrputed Seahorse in Kedge Keep. So if we can not get Praklion (or it does not look like we will have enough troops for him) we can always help another guildie get another part of their epic.

i will add it to my clalendar .. this is the first saturday im not going to have to work (as it stands so far but may change) in a while so i should wake up before that time =P i will talk to a few friends that have done the prak and see what details i can get from them

i met this particular mob during one of those hunts for the stuff to get the fireworks stick...he very nearly got me....im certain that he does summon and casts a bunch of nasty stuff
