Wow, I don't get a chance to read the boards in the second half of the week because I usually do it while I'm at work. I didn't know you guys were going after IV. IV is a pretty serious encounter.

What kind of turnout did you get for this? Does WoV have RGC? I'm still really new to the guild, but I didn't think we could come up with this kind of dps. Then again, I had no idea we could take out Trakanon either

This is probably a stupid question, but what is RGC?

Even though this hunt ended in CR again, I feel good about the zone and about how we did. I'm ready to go again, and thanks to Cymoryl for all the headaches and hard work.

Uh...he also procs a knockback which can push you all the way to the edge of his room which is lined with his outer guard. The outer guard is on something like a 6 minute spawn timer, so it's pretty difficult to clear them all before you engage, and it's near impossible to drop IV before they respawn.

Allakhazam has a pretty accurate description of him. The last time I went up against IV, it was with a raid about four or five groups strong. The raid force was comprised of mostly 60s in full HoT or better gear (this was pre-PoP). We wiped out three times before we gave up.

I remember him being permarooted with the knockback. Which way was he facing? If he was facing the close wall, the MT may have been knocked back into the stone slab there so you didn't notice it.
