Wayfarers of Veeshan

On April 15th, 2007 I will be leading an open exploratory raid on Ashengate with my Ranger Vektor. The purpose of the raid will be to do the final Wanderlust task for everyone involved. We will be meeting at the Ashengate Zone in at Noon PST/3pm EST. Chat channel will be WanderAsh.

Wanderlust tasks begin in Crescent Reach with and take you on a tour of The Serpent Spine Mountains zones. Each step rewards the quester with some EXP, Plat, and improved stats on their .

The entire series of 18 tasks involves no killing, and most of it can be done with simple invisibility. Frostcrypt requires Invis. Vs. Undead, but is still a very simple task. The hard part is the 18th step: . Everything in Ashengate sees invis and in some parts mobs are very heavily packed together.

This raid is open to everyone, but to get the full benefit you must have completed the first 17 steps already which is very easy to do. However, you must be level 75 in order to get the last 2 tasks assigned to you. This raid is being posted with over a months notice so if you need any help you have plenty of time to get it.

LOOT:
Any equipable items & augmentations that happen to drop along the way will be randomed for by anyone that can use them. For quest drops, I will take tells at the beginning of what people are looking for and when the items drop will either annouce who gets the item or if it is FFA due to no requests. We will not be going out of our way for named unless they are very close, such as just 1 room away. Any that are in our way are simply a bonus.

I am posting this on the HOOAC, Wayfarers of Veeshan, and Alliance raiders boards since those are where I am most active. Anyone in another guild is welcome to post this on their boards as well. The more people we have, the faster it will go. Feel free to post any questions. I will be sure to reply to them as soon as I can.

Thank you to everyone that showed up to help make this so successful. When I originally planned it I figured it would take 3 hours, maybe 4 tops. Well, it took 6, but nearly everyone stayed for all of it.

All in all it was very successful. Besides getting over 20 people finished with Wanderlust we also got a nice chunk of loot from the day:

along with 2 large Plate & 2 Large Silk Powersources

The EXP was also very good, even for a raid of 24-30 people. Anyone on 100% AA got at least 4AAs and like Alley, some even got 5. And a few people even had various tasks running that required killing mobs in the zone and so they got credit for those as well.

congrats guys

I think I saw only one dark blue mob the entire time; the rest were even con, yellow, or red. The scariest thing was seeing Orionpax with "Alliance Raiders" under his name instead of "Wayfarers of Veeshan." AR desperately needed one more guild member present in order to plant a guild banner for a latecomer's transport, and OP bravely volunteered to switch. We got him re-tagged as quick as we could, though, and things are back to normal.
